I met Mona, the florist, at Jimbo's Naturally (San Diego, CA) at the height of the pandemic last year. I was having a challenging day. We chatted for a bit and afterward, she gave me a sticker pack and a big hug. She radiated warmth.
Every time I give my Mona-stickers away, I tell the kids that these are from her. To this day, Mona's love continues to move through me.
